The mother of Alia and Paul, and the concubine of Duke Leto Atreides. She is the glue that holds the family together after Leto's death. She's also the grandmother to Paul's children Leto II and Ghanima. She has Bene Gesserit training, and she always stood by her son.

Wonderful! She looks like the actress playing her role in the TV series. ;)
BTW, just as a detail, she does not bear the name "Atreides" since she is not married to the Duke, but not important detail :D

I see no need for the producers of a future movie/TV miniseries to repeat themselves. Jessica could be black, and Paul, a mixed-race child, and it could still work. You have to be more open-minded.
